Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach

After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering, Joseph Esler worked as a consultant with McKesson, a Fortune 9 company—the world’s largest distributor of pharmaceuticals and the biggest company nobody has ever heard of. While he very much enjoyed helping doctors and nurses help patients, he wanted to help patients directly, so he became a personal trainer and nutritionist.

With expertise in both exercise and nutrition, Joseph offers a holistic solution to help his clients improve their overall function, health, fitness and performance. His specialty is variety. From powerlifting to bodybuilding to sports performance to tactical conditioning to weight loss to corrective exercise to designing your own workout, he loves it all. And he loves working with everyone, from high-performance athletes to special populations.

Both a Precision Nutrition (PN) Level 1 certified coach and a Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Level 2 certified professional, Joseph continually assesses and reassesses client progress through the best practices of PN behavior change and FMS screens, along with InBody body composition, anthropometry, pulse oximetry, and other biometrics. Doing so allows him to create a road map from the initial assessment and then change course as appropriate.
