Train Approved
Three Train approved Holiday Fitness gifts
Happy Holidays everyone.
Fitness is a multi-billion dollar industry. There’s a ton of fitness merch out there and some of it sucks (Hello Shake weight!). Let us help you find a great, useful, and Train approved gift for that fitness freak on your Holiday list.
The first question we have to ask is how much do you love… I mean how much do you want to spend? I’ll break it into categories. Without further ado: Category number one.
Stocking Stuffer: I’m going with this Neck massager for $16.95. I don’t know about you but if I massage someone I wanna get paid. Giving your significant other a neck/shoulder massage sounds erotic/sensual but in actuality it is annoying and your hands get tired. This neck roller allows them to massage their own neck and it’s actually pretty great. Click below to find out how great!
A favorite of my Training clients and only $16.95
Let’s level up. Spend a little bread. You have a new romantic interest and want to show them you care, flash a little cash, but not so much that you look like you’re trying to buy their affection. Holidays gifts can’t buy you love but they can send a message. We’ll call category 2:
Send a Message: If I’m sending a message to someone I want to impress (but not overwhelm) I’m rolling with the TRX Suspension Trainer ($149) here. If you have a TRX and somewhere to tie it off (any doorway will do) you can get a great workout anywhere. This is great for your traveling fitness freak, or for an aging Fitster whose joints aren’t what they used to be (the progressions/regressions for TRX exercises are great).
And finally we have the ALL IN category. You’re in the dog house and need to show you care, but your holiday heartthrob already has enough jewelry. Time to bring out the big guns.
ALL IN: The Theragun ($229). This thing is next level at working out muscle knots, improving lymphatic flow, and just plain waking up the nervous system.
The theragun is so great it deserves a special award:
The award for best fitness gift you buy (ostensibly) for another, but actually for yourself goes to the Theragun!
I’m guilty of buying loved ones books I want to read (when they’re done of course) or massage tools that I will also benefit from. Sue me. Also- if my Wife is reading this I’ll probably catch hell for buying her compression boots this summer. I did buy them for her, but they were also for me (and Train clients).
And finally… you can always buy a Train Private Training package for a beloved fitness freak. We can get you started on your journey or level you up but…
Buying someone a training package sends a message. It’s like buying them a Diet Coke when they just asked for a soda. Know what I’m saying. If they ask for it… I’ve posted a link to our first time intro packages below. We work with the best trainers, we charge less than the big box gyms, and we offer a clean, private studio to work in.
Just make sure they ask for it.
