Our Story

Alan and Steve at Saldare.jpg

Alan Goldsmith and Stephen Allison first met while working at Saldare - Body Therapy and Wellness Studio. When Alan took over ownership of Saldare, he saw something amazing in Steve. Not only was he a great trainer, but he listened to his clients and reacted to their needs in a much stronger way than any of the other Personal Trainers.

Because of this, Alan decided to reward that behavior by feeding him as many clients as Steve’s schedule allowed. Steve, of course, appreciated this very much. They began to talk more and found out that they were actually born in the same year and could relate on the movies and shows they watched and the music they listened to growing up.

As they began to talk more, Steve found out that Alan wanted to get his Yoga Teacher Certification. Steve was part of the first class to get his certification at Health Yoga Life. Trusting Steve completely, and taking a class himself, Alan decided that was where he would get his certification. As part of it, Alan had to take many yoga classes on his own to complete his 200 hours. So he decided to take as many of Steve’s classes as possible to see, understand, and learn from his style. In fact, when asked what style Alan thought he might teach, Steve’s was always at the top of the list.

And now, Alan and Steve decided to join forces and open a strong, posh, educational fitness studio called TRAIN: Personal Training and Yoga Studio where all are welcome and their focus is forward movement — having everyone reach their success story.

And, on a more personal note, Alan was also the one who facilitated these two to become their own Romeo and Juliet.
